Ya’ll… I am in complete shock. I’M PREGNANT!!! 🎉
I’ve been off birth control for almost 2 years now. We’ve been really casual about it. Never tracked ovulation/temperatures or anything else. We have always been of the mind set “It’ll happen when it happens” and “We trust Gods timing above all”
Then a few months ago, my husband received unaccompanied orders to somewhere overseas. I opted to stay off birth control. Instead, we decided to start using protection and that was going well… until just one time 😬🤷🏼♀️
Apparently thats all it takes!! Just a few weeks later and here we are! I’m not sure how many weeks I am. I think I am 7-8 weeks. My husband thinks its closer to 4-5 weeks.
I have an appointment with my primary care doctor mid next week. Hopefully she’ll be able to give us a better estimate!
I honestly wasn’t even going to test because I was pretty confident it would not be positive. But fatigue, headaches and cramps prompted me to check it out.
We are still processing it as this is so unexpected but we 100% are overjoyed and feel so so blessed for this new journey and adventure!
